We have seen a lot of discussion among webmasters on SEO forums, webmaster communities, and Twitter about broken Page Rank which caused many third-party tools and online scripts related to Page rank returning NA Toolbar Page Rank.
Due to Google’s changes which he made in the Page Rank query, it has resulted in broken PageRank checkers or tools which are based on the Page Rank concept around the web. Google has modified their toolbar query URL and due to this, all PageRank tools are returning PR as N/A for any website.
So what are these changes? Change is only into search?
OLD Query URL https://toolbarqueries.google.com/search?
NEW Query URL https://toolbarqueries.google.com/tbr?
All the parameters and options will be the same except for these changes. Some of the scripts can be fixed very easily, you need to check this function in your script
GET /search?client=navclient-auto and change to GET /tbr?client=navclient-auto
We are also fixing our Page Rank Checker tool with their primary PageRank toolbar domain (toolbarqueries.google.com), but this fix is currently not working for all of Google’s other data centers.
