I have just made a detailed study of Cuil that who is behind the scene

I found there are three ex-Google workers and one from IBM and One from AltaVista Here is the detail:

• Anna Patterson: worked on Google’s search index
• Russell Power: worked on Google’s search index
• Louis Monier: founder of the AltaVista search engine
• Tom Costello: worked on IBM’s WebFountain project.

So people behind it know the search better
