July 26, 2016The news is indeed shocking to me had been very loyal to Yahoo! 120 billion dollar company sold in 4.8 billions. Yahoo baught many companies like Tumblr and did nothing with them to be profitable.

July 26, 2016Yahoo aquired many companies in past and did nothing with them. The notable products acquisition according to me were Delicious, Jumpcut, Zimbra, Xoopit, Xobni, Cooliris, Astrid, Flickr, Tumblr, Rockmelt. Most of the products are dead, sold to others and lost momentum under Yahoo. Yahoo is a perfect example when you don't know exactly what you wanna do then this happens.
