In an important change to manage your AdWord account location extensions faster and easier, Google will now use local extensions stored in your Google Business Account.
So what is changed for you as AdWords account manager? If you are using Google Local Extensions, now you will have to update locations at your “Google My Business Account” as compared to before, which was managed within the AdWords account. Google will use the same address and locations defined at your business account level (formerly Google Places for Business).
So if you have any manually defined extensions in your account, Google will remove those; Google also said that non-updated extensions would be removed from your account.
With this updated feature, you can manage your local address edits, deletions, and updations for Google Maps and Adwords from a single place within your Google Business Account.
Note: Google Adwords is now known as Google Ads.
